志愿精神 volunteer spirit

Xi extended greetings to the volunteers, volunteer service organizations and volunteer service work staff in a congratulatory letter sent to the second congress of the China Volunteer Service Federation (CVSF). Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, said volunteer service marks the progress of social civilization.

中國志愿服務(wù)聯(lián)合會(China Volunteer Service Federation)是經(jīng)民政部批準(zhǔn)于2013年12月在京登記成立。中國志愿服務(wù)聯(lián)合會是由志愿者組織、志愿者自愿組成的全國性、聯(lián)合性、非營利性社會組織，在中央文明委指導(dǎo)下開展工作。聯(lián)合會宗旨是，普及志愿理念，弘揚(yáng)志愿精神，培育志愿文化，組織開展志愿服務(wù)活動，推動形成我為人人、人人為我的社會風(fēng)尚。成立中國志愿服務(wù)聯(lián)合會，是貫徹落實(shí)黨的十八屆三中全會提出的支持和發(fā)展志愿服務(wù)組織這一戰(zhàn)略任務(wù)的實(shí)際舉措。黨的十八大以來，廣大志愿者、志愿服務(wù)組織、志愿服務(wù)工作者積極響應(yīng)黨和人民號召，弘揚(yáng)和踐行社會主義核心價值觀，走進(jìn)社區(qū)、走進(jìn)鄉(xiāng)村、走進(jìn)基層，為他人送溫暖、為社會作貢獻(xiàn)，充分彰顯了理想信念、愛心善意、責(zé)任擔(dān)當(dāng)，成為人民有信仰、有力量、民族有希望的生動體現(xiàn)。
