構詞：quant 量，數(shù)量 + ity 具備某種性質，狀況 → (數(shù))量

例句：The data is limited in terms of both quality and quantity.

辨：query，inquire和question

query意為“提問”，較普通用詞，指提出問題讓人回答，多用于口語中。例：

He queried if she would join in the party.(他問她是否會參加聚會。)

inquire意為“詢問，打聽”，是較正式用詞，指為了解真實情況而詳細詢問。例：She inquired the time when the national library would open.(她詢問圖書館何時開門)

question意為“詢問，審問”，指因感到可疑或為了解情況、弄清究竟而正式地發(fā)問，尤指就某一罪案進行盤問。例：The murderer was questioned for almost 2 hours.(兇手被審問了近2個小時)

question意為“問題”，通常指以口頭或書面形式提出來要求回答或有待討論解決的問題。例：The question is difficult to answer.(這個問題很難回答)
