decline意為“拒絕”，較為正式，指婉言謝絕他人的幫助、邀請等。例：I declined Mrs. Green’s warm invitation to dinner.(我謝絕了格林太太盛情的晚宴邀請)

rebuff意為“回絕，斷然拒絕”，較為正式，指很不友好地拒絕別人善意的建議或幫助。例：She rebuffed all his offers of friendship in the letter.(在信中，她斷然拒絕了他所有的友好表示)
